If the key to coaching is all about perspective, then what is the key to giving great perspective?  As we’ve been saying now for eons…the best criteria that determines your ability to give perspective (to be a life coach) is your life’s experience and all the events that have happened in your life that has given you the ability to reflect.  Reflection and insight, usually something that happens after an “event” occurs in our life, often leads to an ability to offer perspective. 

Five Words That Will Change The World

On a recent flight to India I was somewhere over central Australia, about the position of Uluru, the sacred site of Ayres Rock. I was reading the National Speakers Association magazine when, for some reason, I grabbed my pen and started writing all over the magazine. The man dozing next to me work, startled at this incessant scribbling monster that had come to life next to him. What was so important that I had awoken my neighbour with my rummaging and clearing of the tray table? It was the five words that will change the world.

The pentacle is one of the ancient symbols. Its meaning has often been said to be ‘fore-know all future things, and command whole nature, have power over devils, and angels, and do miracles.’ Even Moses’ magical feats have been attributed to his knowledge of pentacles and their uses. They have also been the key to Solomon, among many other things. It seemed right that I started drawing a pentacle, of which each of the five words would occupy one of the points.

Become an Author in a Few Easy Steps

If you have ever considered being an authority of any subject, then there is a simple way to become one. Write a book on the subject. The word ‘author’ is derived from the word ‘authority’. This all sounds pretty simple, but for many people writing a book is a foreboding task that almost seems as alien as doing your own dental work.
